From day 4 onward, it will be two days tour to places i never been before except for certain parts of Senaru area, where Entrance gate of Rinjani Mountain located. We will be heading to south on day 4 and northeast on day 5.

Aruna Hotel is a whole another level now compare to 4 years ago. Classy hotel, probably one of the top in Senggigi.

Lombok 6D5N Trip (2017) Part 1

Thanks to our Travel Expert, Bryan Lee, i got a chance to visit Lombok again. Did not have much time on 2013 visit due because Rinjani Hike taken up 3 days. This round will spend more time on my favorite relaxing Gili Trawangan, south and north east of Lombok.

Jali Resort, although located a little further from port, but i like it here. Clean, good foods, silent, well design room, nice bathroom and relaxing environment.

Lombok 6D5N Itinerary

Thanks to our travel expert Mr. Bryan Lee organized the trip with the help of tour planner Daphne Lee. Below are the itinerary for our 6 Days 5 Nights at Lombok,

Day 1: Flight to Lombok, transport to Bangsal Port for 1 hour 40 minutes, 15 minutes boat trip to Gili Trawangan
Day 2: Snorkeling at 3 points and Island hopping to Gili Air
Day 3: Afternoon back to Lombok main island, Senggigi. Walk at Senggigi Beach for sunset and visit Hindu Temple, Pura Batu Bolong
Day 4: South Lombok tour, Sukarara (Weaving Village) -> Penujak (Pottery Village) -> Selong Balanak Beach (Laut Biru / Blue Beach) -> Tanjung Ann Beach (Sun Set)
Day 5: North East Lombok tour, Villa Hantu -> Bukit Malimbu -> Malaka -> Sendang Gile Waterfall (20 minutes) and Tiu Kelep Waterfall at Senaru (35 minutes) -> Senaru Traditional Village
Day 6: Checkout and back

The whole trip included Transportation (flight, airport transfer), 2 days tour with admission fees, accommodation, meals and 3 days massage were around RM 1800 per person, consider very good price compare to Bali.

IMO, if your group are energetic, itinerary can be arranged as below to minimize traveling time and enjoy longer stay at certain nice location.

Day 1: Earliest flight to Lombok, South Lombok tour, Sukarara (Weaving Village) -> Penujak (Pottery Village) -> check-in at Sempiak Villa at Selong Balanak Beach or cheaper option at guesthouse nearby -> Tanjung Ann Beach (Sun Set)
Day 2: Morning swim and surfing at Laut Biru, Selong Balanak -> check-out on afternoon -> Ampenan local market and Cakranegara Market at Mataram (Capital of Lommbok) -> Walk at Senggigi Beach for sunset and visit Hindu Temple, Pura Batu Bolong -> Stay at Sengigi
Day 3: Suggest start on 7:30am for the tour to North East Lombok, Villa Hantu -> Bukit Malimbu -> Malaka -> Sendang Gile Waterfall (20 minutes) and Tiu Kelep Waterfall at Senaru (35 minutes) -> Senaru Traditional Village -> Pantai Tebing
Day 4: Afternoon, Sengigi to Bangsal Port boat transport to Gili Trawangan. Cycling around Gili Trawangan Island.
Day 5: Snorkeling at 3 points and Island hopping to Gili Air
Day 6: Back to Lombok main island. Transport to Lombok airport and late evening (19:15) flight back to KLIA2.

Thanks to Nick Lim for organizing a half day trip to Sasaran, the location for recent most discussed tourist spot: Sky Mirror.
