We decide to have a vegetarian meal for weekend dinner, went to Mahkota Cheras and wanted to try “養聖齋” that strongly recommended by my sister. Too it was closed for the time we reached there, surf around and saw a shop named “Yigaho” (一家好), so we went it to dine.
The shop looks good with greenish theme, plant based colours with words of healthy, wheat grass and organic around that lead me thought this is a vegetarian restaurant, but i am totally wrong! it is a normal restaurant that sells meat dishes after all.
If you looking for noodles and rice, the place will only 4 to 5 selections, where others are snacks and breads.
Seems like wheat grass are their main product that the waitress keep on pushing it when we ordered plain water. The wheat grass drink taste neutral without strong grass smell, grass was blended into very smooth that won’t have you choke as one that i have tried before. Thanks to them by adding lemon on the water to add in some taste.
卤肉饭 (minced pork rice) with pork, half boil egg, two pieces of vege and sea grass.
卤肉拉面 (minced pork ramen) with pork, sliced cucumber, sliced carrot, sea grass and vege.
I give a rating of 5.0/10, the environment is good and food taste not bad. But personally, i don’t really like the use of vege, healthy and organic terms that they on their banner, board and menu that mislead me to think it is a vegetarian restaurant.
