Been to Paparich at Bandar Mahkota Cheras for few times but didn’t got an oppoturnity to take a look on those restaurants nearby. Surprised us to see Padi House franchise over here, don’t even know when it started operate.
“Padi”, a word from local (malay) means rice, but doesn’t mean the restaurant sells only local food. The place offer fusion of Asian and western that serve wide variety of foods, from spaghetti, chop steak, fried rice, fried kuey teow, cakes, coffee and more. As i know, there are a branch at Sri Petaling and another locate at Putrajaya.
Quite some numbers of choices on the cakes available, Japanese cheese cake and Oreo cake draw my attention, but we ordered another type of cheese cake which is fairly good too.
Spacious space with minimalist interior design, classy dining tables and chairs, with nice ambient light creates a very decent atmosphere for gathering and chit chat.
All the seats on ground floor was full when we got there on Saturday night, luckily there are more space on the 2nd floor to spare for us.
By the time we settle down, more customer came in and filled up the 2nd floor. With full house crowded, speed of waitress taking orders and food serving is ver satifying, we didn’t wait long for our dishes to land on our table.
The menu is generous enough to extend for vege lovers, which i can spot three vegetarian dishes without counting in salads, biscotti and cakes. Image above is one of it that ordered by us, vegetarian mushroom spaghetti.
Lovely cheesecake with macadamia on top, delicious and only ost for RM 11.90.
Very nice caesar salad with grilled bread. Cost us RM 40 for the night, very reasonable price and much better quality in overall compare to Oldtown.
