HTC Malaysia: HTC One Launch Event @ Studio Lounge

Good to see HTC Malaysia and Cubic Platforms throwing in a proper launch event for HTC One compares to previous HTC Elevate Program. The event was held at Studio Lounge at Tropicana City Mall, speakers of the night includes SK Wong (Country Manager of HTC Malaysia, Wayne Tang (Product Marketing Manager, SEA HTC), Goh Thih Liang (Country Manager of Qualcomm Malaysia), Shane Chiang (Head of Online Communication, HTC APAC) and Steve Nisbet (Managing Director of Otterbox APAC).

The place was packed due good response from Media and writers, numbers of great tech bloggers appeared there too. HTC Malaysia generously giving away numbers of prizes to the crowds which includes HTC Windows 8x limited edition, HTC One X+, HTC One SV and the new flagship HTC One.

Detail demonstration of HTC One features was shown on, the camera now comes with lots of great add-ons such as: HTC Zoe, color effects, eyes/face modification and Blackberry Z10’s Time-shift alike feature. One important thing is missing during the event, there are no selling or pre-order for the actual phone on the event.

Peeps attended the event will be able to spend some time testing on the phone, many staffs are standing by and ready to give guide on using it. You can take pictures by using HTC Zoe then bluetooth to your phone, compares LCD display with current phone or play the music out loud from the phone’s BoomSound (dual-front speakers).

Eye Candies is a must for product launch event, look at how the ladies makes HTC One looks more attractive on their hands. Howeverm, IMHO, i’ll definitely recommend this phone to ladies instead of the coming Samsung Galaxy S4. Try to watch this video, it just doesn’t fit on the girl’s hand. This probably because HTC One comes with narrower width, metal body that feels more elegant and bezel with black color design.
