Broga Hill sometimes known as Bukit Broga or Bukit Lalang, where Broga is actually a place name and Lalang is blady grass in Malay launguage. With a low 400 meters height, ready trail and panoramic scene, it become local famous spot that attracts big numbers of visitors during weekends.
The fifteen time to the Broga Hill that locate at Jalan Broga, Semenyih. Takes only 30 minutes (50km) by driving from Kuala Lumpur to Broga Hill.
The hill is just nearby to University of Nottingham (Malaysia Campus), go straight from the University for another 5 minutes and you will reach hill entrance (an oil palm estate) at left opposite a rabbit park, GPS Coordinates: 2.939698, 101.902313
Either park your car in oil palm estate (cost RM 2.00) as image above or park on roadside.
Visit it on saturday, surprisingly the hill is not overcrowded as it used to be, especially lack of chinese peeps, perhaps because of chinese new year is coming.
Depend on your walking speed, it may takes between 20-40 minutes to reach first peak, there are three peaks in total to the summit. Once reach the first peak, take your time to capture images, enjoy the amazing views, and slowly walks to the summit. Reach earlier if you want to set up photohraphy gears to capture sun rise.
The famous greenish Lalang (blady grass) that covered almost whole of the Broga Hill from 200m onwards.
