Been using VLC media player since few years ago for both my Windows laptop and Ubuntu Dekstop. It is the best media player i have ever use on those two operating systems and hoping them create the same application for Android devices too.
Good news that few months after VLC launched on iOS (which is now removed from Apple’s App Store), the VLC Mobile Team finally released the VLC Beta for android, now available on Google Play.
Google Play Link: VLC Beta (NEON version)
Here is what i found out from VLC app that installed in HTC One X:
Simple design with snappy interface and quick response
Media player that consist of video and audio section
Stream video from my Buffalo LinkStation™ Pro without problem
Optimize for ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) which locate a menu button on top right instead of 3 dots menu at bottom
