What a surprise avril bring up on this new album. This is an album that bring us closer to avril, one that represents her music and life.

“Smile”, “What the hell” and “Bad Reputation” continues attitude from previous albums, then the rest of album tracks shows a different side that we din’t know, a soft, girlish, emotional and romance with love.

“Wish you were here”, “Push”, “Goodbye”, “Remember When”, “Not Enough”, “Stop Standing There”. These tracks are like confessions and conversations between a couple.

IMHO, “Push” in 4play is a bit better than album version. Live version creates more warm and emo; down tuned allow her voice sounds stays on sweet spot on verse, shine in chorus with wider range of dynamics.

The arrangement in 4play is more friendly than album version. Which is more acoustic pop and piano playing through the chorus done a great job.

Avril’s angry no more

Finally, “new beetle” is going to replace with “2012 Volkswagen beetle”  after 10 years. The redesign looks impressive, mixture of sporty, classy and classic. From side of view, it looks like a baby porsche and more beetle(insect) alike now.

Seems like VW trying to attract more male driver with this sportier design. Based on demographics of previous gen owner, 55% of them are female. From my perspective, previous gen cute fat round design language truly make it like a girl’s car.

From these pictures, the new one comes with:

  - golf gti alike front air intake grill
  - steeper windshield
  - flat roof line
  - silver footstep? at the bottom of door
  - spoiler
  - redesign tail lights

I have gone through dilemma on which telco call + data plan to sign on. Majority of existing plan on market are suitable for heavy and moderate phone caller. For a person with heavy data use, less than 10 phone calls made for a month, those plan just doesn’t fit me.

Some normal plan user told me they got bill shocked because of data charges, since digi and maxis both charge RM0.10/KB after exceeded quota. They advised to install data traffic counter app to monitor, refresh every month for accurate info to avoid bill shock.

b) 3G Watchdog Pro


For unlimited data usage, Digi offer two plans:

i) DG Smartplan Lite
  - RM 33, auto billing rm 28 300MB quota/month
  - After exceed usage, it will throttle down to 8-10kbps!?

After all, i choose Digi because it is not fun at all to use internet with the care of exceeding data. Since smart plan lite quota is too low, i take rm 68 smart plan instead.

Few days ago, i just experienced death of my Philips 32PFL403S/97 LCD TV. Without any sign, the screen sudden turned from color to white, with the sound still working.

Bought the LCD since year 2008 3rd quarter with RM 1699, moderate use, average 3-4 hours per day.

Tried to find solution online,

Those solution above doesn’t seems easy for DIY, so i went to 2 local electronics shops, but none of them willing to try fixing it. According to them, replacement parts availability of the brand is bad, especially for old model. Advised me bring it to dealer shop or service centre.

To save time, i just bought a new one instead. A Sharp LC32L400M- bk.

Compare to previous Philips, Sharp brighten up dark area of image to make it more visible. It also comes with backlight control and auto brightness control. Not bad for a RM 1k product.

Take me sometime to figure out how to do this, as below:

step 1: open youtube app
step 2: tap the menu button on your phone, choose “my channel”
step 3: click “sign out” on top right, and it will redirect to youtube home page
step 4: now, go back to “my channel” again, it will prompt up a box with selection of sign in existing account or Add account.

Add new account here, to sign in different account next time, repeat steps above, and you will see different accounts in the prompt box.

up to  the space! The coming soon Angry Birds Star Wars edition.

It looks tough or tougher now, hopefully it doesn’t takes forever fail and restart
process to complete it.

    d) After that, it will load up some free books on the shelf. Done.

vii) Astro File Manager
Steps for create music playlist:
    a) Go to music folder, click on “Multi” above, choose files
    b) Click on Music, it will prompt up option of Play and “add to playlist
    c) Create new playlist or add in existing playlist
    c) After that, go to stock music player, Click on playlist, then new playlist will be there.

viii) TeamViewer
